Green Products

Green products are very important both to our environment and in addressing concerns of our clients. Products made of renewable resources, recycled materials, or are recyclable or biodegradable are important to the future of floor coverings and interior finishes. New technology is on the horizon for many products and others are becoming once again more important in our lives such as wool carpeting and area rugs. Wool, once considered only for the affluent, is becoming more cost-effective due to new manufacturing technology of natural fibers. Wool is a renewable resource and is biodegradable. Nylon manufactures have been attempting to duplicate the benefits and features of wool since the conception of nylon. For instance, wool is a product that improves IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) in homes and offices, by acting as an air purifier. Synthetics do not have this capability.
