At Avalanche we use pre-finished woods. Why pre-finished? The finishes of pre-finished woods have a higher level of performance with a uniform application of more layers. The area of finishing technology of pre-finished woods reads like a high-tech defense arsenal manual. These advancements, as well as the improvements in engineered construction were developed with the goal of delivering tangible benefits to the end user. Pre-finished woods carry a manufacturers warranty and are engineered for better environmental stability, which is extremely important in Colorado, an area of a large climate differential.

Being friendly to our environment is controlled in the manufacturing process of the pre-finished woods, but the disposing of the many containers used on a site finish should be a concern to us all. The wood manufacturers that Avalanche represents are environmentally conscious in the replanting of trees, the manufacturing process, and in the handling of the wood finishes.

Many of the pre-finished woods are now available in a glue-less system also known as a click system. It appears to be a more stable wood flooring system for Colorado. In addition, the click system allows for the floor to be mobile and to replace a plank for repair with much greater ease. It is a product you can "install today and dance on tonight!"
